-I actually post a journal focusing on things I don't like.

Actually, this is more of a "just because I felt like it" then anything meant to be angry or demeaning... God forbid. If I notice I'm being unintentionally insulting, things have a habit of being deleted really fast. I may also be trying to be funny. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. It usually does, thankfully, but that doesn't stop me worrying.

I feel justified in updating my journal since I actually uploaded some art (see:Lifeline). I start feeling guilty and paranoid when I start wanting to spam journals at you all about whatever happens to cross my mind. Especially since it's usually unimportant drivel.

(In not unimportant drivel, the wind today blew our horse shed over. It wasn't exactly a palace, but that's still pretty crazy. I hear tell of 70kmph or higher winds or somesuch)

So this is my "list of things that seem to happen ALOT in Shadow of the Colossus fanart that kind of annoy me". Some more then others.

1. It is always the same colossus. Seven out of ten pictures will be the one with the sword. There are more colossi then just that third one.

2. Whenever Agro is in the same picture as a colossus that Agro has no business being anywhere near. Such as the aforementioned sword colossus. Water based colossi, the first and last colossi, the wall-crawler, both beast colossi, and possibly a few others I am forgetting also count.

3. Pictures where Agro is about the size of a quarter horse. He is not. Take a good look. If you tell me he is a small horse I will beat you over the head with a chair.

4. More of a minor annoyance, but there ARE better titles then "Shadow of the Colossus" or "Colossus" for your fanart.

5. Combination of 1 and 2. AGRO IS NOT IN THE THIRD COLOSSUS BATTLE. WHY ARE THERE SO MANY PICTURES OF AGRO AND THE THIRD COLOSSUS?

6. Another minor annoyance: Wanda. I realise what this stemmed from, but really, the correction has been around for a while now. It just sounds silly. Say it with me. Wander. WandER. Wanderer is acceptable, as is The Wanderer. Still a little ridiculous as a name, but at least he gets some dignity out of it.

7. Stop making up new colossi unless you really think you've matched up with the game aesthetic. Line them all up in a row if you have to. If a random person can spot the odd one out, try again.

8. Agros hair is parted to both sides, and he does not have bangs. Yes, now I'm being nitpicky, but it means I can pick out each and every one of you that is using a stock horse picture as a reference. This ties in with number 3.

9. "Oh wah! Poor Wander!" Hush. Wander had a pretty good idea what he was getting into, even if he (possibly) didn't deserve it -I dunno. He did commit genocide on a bunch of walking statues that weren't really hurting anybody. This is up for debate-. Agro on the other hand...

Okay, I definitely have a bias.

Actually, I almost ranted on somebodies page when they were all "Oh poor Wander". I didn't, but I'm going to put it here for future reference.

***Do I sounds like a jerk if I say that, while it was all very sad, I don't feel as bad for him as I do for Agro? After all, he had a pretty good idea what he was getting into, his dead girlfriend was resurrected in the end(even if he had the misfortune of not being able to witness it). He even got a second chance at life - how many people can go on a well-intentioned killing spree and be brought back later and have people still care about them?

Agro on the other hand, makes me cry every time I play, as he pretty much has a slow and painful death sentence. And he was still loyal to Wander -and seemingly by extension, Mono- after all of that. Wanders death/rebirth just didn't have that much of an impact after watching Agro fall off a cliff. And it wasn't as heart-wrenching as watching Agro slowly limp back to the temple in search of Wander.***

10. As far as I'm aware, colossi eyes come in yellow and blue. Where did the red come from?

I TAKE IT BACK WHEN I SAID THE TF:2 SOUNDTRACK WAS AWFUL.

I guess my inner ear was off that day or something, but I'm relistening to it now and it doesn't sounds nearly as bad. I might actually have to buy it once I have the funds to do so. Bizarre. Also tempted to buy the game, even if the first one was a bit of a disappointment.

*weeps* I'm sorry Steve Jablonsky you are still my hero.
